Kim Anne Jones

Kim Jones quietly passed away on Aug 13, 2015 at the Big Bend Hospice House in Tallahassee, FL. Kim was surrounded by her family at the time of her death. She is survived by her husband Harvey, seven children; Sarah, Laura, Joshua and his wife Michelle, Lydia, Jacob, Elizabeth and Mary Grace, two grandchildren; Frank Milstead and Steven Milstead, her mother; Janice Weber, three brothers; Joseph, Michael and Daniel and a sister; Stephanie and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Kim was born April 1, 1962 to Janice and Arthur Corsair in Providence Rhode Island. She spent the majority of her life in Pensacola where she became heavily involved in St. Paul Catholic Church where she made another family. Kim and Harvey and a few of their kids moved to Tallahassee in 2011 where their family continued to grow through Good Shepherd Church.

She joins the heavenly host along with Arthur, her father; step-mother Sue, beloved stepfather Frank, in-laws Randall and Caroline Jones along with so many other loved ones. We rest easy knowing she is at peace and is finally home.

Kim was very involved in many activities in the Pensacola-Tallahassee Diocese mainly the Diocesan Conference for the Charismatic Renewal where she was the Co-chair for many years. Kim worked in the front office at the St Paul Catholic School until the family moved to Tallahassee. On arrival Kim was able to gain employment with the State of Florida in the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

The family would like to thank the staff at Big Bend Hospice for the love and kindness shown Kim. The family would also like to thank Dr. Broseeker and his staff and the staff at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and to our friends and co-workers at the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 5-7 PM at the Culley’s Meadowwood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Rd., Tallahassee, Florida 32308. The funeral mass will be August 17, 2015 with the Rosary at 10:00am followed by the funeral mass at 11:00am at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 4665 Thomasville Rd. Tallahassee, FL 32309. Interment will be August 17, 2015 at 2:30PM at the Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee FL 32312.
