Karen Kiley Hawthorne, 57, passed away peacefully on March 12th, 2022. Karen was a very loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend. She is preceded by the love of her life Jerry Franklin Hawthorne as well as her parents Anne Powell Kiley and Don Kiley. She is survived by her daughter Theresa Jane Hawthorne (Steven Hassfurder II), her grandsons Carter Hassfurder and Clyde Hassfurder; her siblings Kevin Kiley, Lisa Kiley and Lee Ann Cash (Alan Cash); 5 nieces, 4 nephews and many loving friends that became family. Karen was an amazing woman that truly made the world a better place, she will be very missed. A Celebration of Life to honor Karen will be held on Sunday March 27, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Dorothy B Oven Park. Parking will be available at Thomasville Road Baptist Church.
