Judith Rose passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2019 while surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born August 8, 1935 in Bruce, FL, the daughter of Harvey Weathers and Margie Weathers. Judith was part Muskogee Creek Indian and extremely proud of her heritage.
Her death was after the loss of her beloved husband, Air Force Lt. Colonel Bill Rose who was a World War II, Korea, and Vietnam Veteran.
Judith Rose was a dedicated RN and is survived by her daughter, Amy Rose Lewis and son Greg Derda.
Her world revolved around her grandchildren Matthew Derda, Abigail Bentheimer, Amanda Lewis and Austin Lewis. Later this year, Judy and her husband who have a home on Black Creek will have their cremains spread over Black Creek and the Choctawhatchee River by immediate family.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Big Bend Hospice.
