Jean Grace Connors died on April 18, 2024, in Tallahassee, FL. Born in Deland, FL on July 28, 1936, Jean was known for her sense of humor and her ability to always look at the bright side. Her strength and resilience were remarkable. She loved animals, reading and taking long rides.
After graduating from Leon High School, Jean lived several years in Jacksonville before moving to NJ where she retired from the US Army as a Procurement Clerk. After retiring, she returned to Tallahassee to enjoy time with her family.
She is predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Patrick Connors and her sister, Joann Parnell along with her adoptive parents Harry and Effie Hall. Jean is survived by her children, Thomas Johnson (Carolyn), James Cooper (Ann), Jeannie Gulino (Barry), Susan Pappas (Michael), and grandchildren, Tennille Robinette (Carl), Jamie Cooper (Brittany), Jonathan Cooper (Courtney), Michael Gulino, Mark Gulino (Stephanie), Thomas Gulino (Tiffany), Gerard Verrico (CheVaughn), Keith Verrico (Deanna), and great grandchildren, Liam, Harley, Scarlett, Gerard, Murphy, Marshal, and Savannah Grace; her brother, James Wiley; and niece, Debbie Bruno. She will be forever remembered and missed by all who loved her.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April, 22, 2024 at Roselawn Cemetery.
