Jane, the daughter of Sam and Ethel Kittrell, was born on February 3, 1931 in Pitt County, North Carolina. She passed on April 18, 2019, just one month short of her sixty-fifth wedding anniversary.
She graduated from high school in 1949 and after a year in college, she was employed by the F.B.I. in Washington. She moved to Florida in 1957 and later retired from the Leon County School Board.
Jane is survived by her husband, James; children: Sandra (Mike), Jenny (Steve) and James, Jr. (Julie); grandchildren: Alec (Christie), Keith, Royce, Brandon and Parker; and one great-grandson, Felix.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Jane's name to Big Bend Hospice.
