James Neil Cooper

Born in Dayton, Ohio, he proudly served his country as a member in the United States Navy, serving on the U.S.S. Runels. He continued his military service as a Major in the United States Air Force, retiring after 25 years of dedicated service. He then served another 20 years as a Civil Servant for the Departmen and a member of t of Army and Navy. He was an active member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He achieved the honorable status of Pilgrim in the Loyal Order of Moose and was a 32nd Degree Mason, being a member of Okeechobee Lodge # 237 F. & A.M. and Scottish Rite Bodies.

He is survived by his daughters, Christina Johnson of West Palm Beach and Cecilia Cooper-Delgado (John) of Crawfordville; four grandchildren, Julia Johnson, Scott Johnson, Laura Del Vecchio (Danilo), and Lisa White (Ryan); and three great-grandchildren, Megan Godfrey, James Johnson, and Danilo Del Vecchio. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local Moose Lodge. A private family service will be held.
