You were on my mind so I had to come here and say that I miss you. I miss being able to call you. I can't believe your not here. I will always love you daddy.

Who would have thought that the last time we spoke the last time I saw you would have been the last.  To my brother in law. I could remember the first time I saw you graced a stage it was like awwww. To the strong resilience of a man I know you are and will always be courageous. You've  lived a life full of intelligence  and a witty character which of whom everyone loves ❤. I will 😭 always  remember our long conversations and the good advice you always gave me. My heart is full when saying this 💓 you will always be loved by me and will be greatly mis. It's time the father said to take back what he's loaned us for so much years. Rest on for we all are only hear for a while it's your time now. Love your sister in law Shecanta ❤ 😭💔

Greg you know I shouldn’t be writing this to say that you’re gone because in my mind it feels like dirty trick. You are my confidant, my best friend and storyteller. Everything was always easier talking it with you & funnier. You helped me through a lot and that I can gladly testify and say A BIG THANK YOU.

Alas it hurts, it hurts to not be able to call you and talk to you but truthfully I know you’re right there with Aunt Cessie & Lisa catching up on ole times, or even with Cousin Betty & Cousin Sam smiling, laughing and making new memories in paradise. Yes it hurts not being able to come over and visit like we talked about but, knowing you’re at peace and resting makes it a little easier. As I said with Cousin Betty the words of this poem I say it with you:

“I have only slipped away into the next room.
Nothing has happened.

Everything remains exactly as it was.
I am I, and you are you,
and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.

Call me by the old familiar name.
Speak of me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.

Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.

Cousins are literally distant siblings, because of Cousin Betty I gained you. 

You are and will always be not just my cousin but my forever big brother.

And then there were two...Greg, Lisa, Dale, and Rhonda, aka "Cessie's archangels".  LOL.  We, the grandchildren, were given that nickname because how well mannered we were when we were in public.  And this was fine for us because we knew, especially at Grammy's house, the fun antics began.   We had a GREAT childhood.  Often as adults we would recount those beautiful and innocent times.  From going to Mr. Farrington's shop to buy candy, the beach picnics with Emmie, watching cricket with Grand Daddy, Grammy’s guava duff, picking coco plums with Aunt Betty, to eating sugar cane, tamarind, plums, and whatever fruit was in season in the backyard.   You were the oldest but being  the only boy of group, you were out numbered, but no push over.  You knew when to let us have our way as long as we participated as your backup dancers in your latest dance routine. From the start you were a natural  creative mind you never shied away from thinking out of the box.  You set your path and established yourself as an entertainer.   Like you said, if you're going to do, it do it.  You lived a full life just the way you wanted it, and that is more than most.   Rest in peace my brother.

To the world you may have just been one person, but to one person you may have been the world.  If tears could be a stairway and memories were a lane, we would walk right up to heaven and bring you back again Greg.

Since 1992 … Is how long I have known Greg.  His mother always had every reason to be proud. He was always a respectful young man.  A teacher by nature is honestly what he seemed to be. Talented, and gifted.  A very private person.
He will never be forgotten, he was loved and he will always be my son.

My deepest condolences to his family.   May his soul Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.   Another good friend gone to Glory ....he will be greatly missed.
