Glenn C Johnson

Glenn was the middle of 5 brothers; Camden, Jerry, Ken, and Dale. After High School, he joined the Marine Corps and served for 4 years. He married after his service and had 3 children; Mike, Jeff, Cheryl, and later two grandchildren, Megan and Alex.

He was employed by the Centel Phone Company for 35 dedicated years. Glenn also owned and operated “Dairy Isle,” an ice cream shop on Pensacola Street, during the ‘80s in Tallahassee.

Glenn was an excellent carpenter and built an A-frame house on Lake Seminole which his family still enjoys today. Glenn enjoyed fishing, antique auctions, and buying/restoring oil lamps and old telephones.

A talented auto mechanic, he rebuilt a Chevy Corvette, MG and multiple motorcycles from the ground up. A man of a thousand talents, Glenn could figure out how to rebuild or fix most anything. It was a gift he shared with many. When he was past a point of sawing a board, swinging a hammer, or turning a wrench, his heart was still working for others.

Glenn Carl Johnson was intensely loved and will be sorely missed.
