Charles D. Talbott

"Doug" was born on July 9, 1932, in Miami, Fl. He attended college at Miami-Dade Community College. He married in Sept. 19, 1952 to Dora Juana Sosa, the love of his life. Doug worked many years at Eastern Airlines. After retirement in 1988, he & "Doris" moved to Crawfordville. He spent most of his time being with his family. He enjoyed his grandchildren & extended families. He had numerous hobbies, toys, and friends. He was known by most as "Dad" or "Papa."

Doug is survived by his wife of 58 years: Doris; by his children: Stephen Talbott & wife: Patrice, Cynthia Parker & husband: Steve; by his grandchildren: Sherry & husband Brian, Patrick, & Dyan; great-grandchildren: Brianna, Justin, & Nicholas; and by his brother Al Talbott of Springfield, IL. Also by all his adopted children & grand-children: Chevy Farrell, Alma, Crystal, & Karen Balchuck, and so many more.

Instead of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (www.leukemia-lymphoma.org) in his memory. The wake will be held at 4pm Wednesday at the home of Steve & Patrice Talbott at 247 Sweetwater Cir, Crawfordville.
