Mary Jane Baldridge

Mary Jane Carter-Walker-Baldridge was born on July 20th, 1971 in Tahlequah, OK, the daughter of Floyd and Mary (Drywater) Carter. She was raised with seven brothers and sisters, Sharon, Sherry, Phillip, Ronnie, Lawrence, Ricky and Christopher. She attended school at Eufaula Boarding School and then decided to work detailing automobiles and landscaping. She was a proud mother of five children, Erik, Felicia, James, Monty and Jakob. When Mary Jane wasn’t working, she loved to shoot pool professionally. She had played pool in leagues and on a State level for years. She never sat down much. Her car was immaculate, so were her flower gardens. She also played darts. Her sense of humor was enough to keep everyone entertained for days. She was always in the company of her canine companion, Sadie. Her time with her family was always very special, and she loved getting together for the holidays and weekends. She passed from this life on August 2nd, 2021 in Tulsa, OK. She was 50 years old and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Ted and Anna Ruth Holmes, her Dad, Floyd Carter, her Uncle, Jeffrey Holmes, her Aunt, Vivian Holmes, and numerous cousins.

She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Mary Drywater of Muskogee, OK, and her children, Erik Holmes of Muskogee, Felicia Holmes of Westville, OK, James Holmes of California, Monty Walker of Muskogee and Jakob Yocum of Ft. Gibson, OK. She also leaves her brothers and sisters, Sharon Pilkerton and husband Bobby of Muskogee, OK, Sherry Lynn Holcomb of Salina, OK, Phillip Carter of Muskogee, Ronnie Bolin of Tahlequah, OK, Lawrence Chavez of Lawton, OK, Ricky Harlan of Germany and Christopher Harlan of Germany. She lives on in her five grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones.

Funeral services for Mary Jane Carter Walker-Baldridge will be held on August 11th, 2021 at Reed-Culver Chapel with Pastor Bill Holcomb officiating. Pallbearers for Mary Jane include Bobby Pilkerton, Christi Alexander, Darrell Gilbreth, Linny Burger, Paul Gilbreth Jr., and Lonnie Ketcher. Her honorary pallbearer will be Les Pollard. Her family will receive visitors at Reed-Culver Chapel on Tuesday, August 10th, 2021 on beginning at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
