Linda Ruby Ryals Hayes

Linda Ruby Hayes, age 61, of Tahlequah, OK passed from this life on October 16, 2016 at her home in Tahlequah. Funeral services have been planned for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Reed Culver Chapel. Officiating will be, Pastor Cleatis Jones. A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Pallbearers for Linda include Bobby Hayes, Alan Garrett, Joey Gritts, Don Eubanks, George Shankle, Gary Ryals, and . Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Hayes, Nicholas Womack, Christopher Westmoreland, Gary Shankle, Vernon Stacy, Doyle Gower, and Brent Gower.

Linda entered this life on July 28, 1955 in Tulsa, OK, the daughter of Gary Ryals Sr. and Rosie Ruby Walker, she was one of seven children. She was lucky enough to have had, Don Eubanks, a person that stepped in as second father to her and did an amazing job of raising her. Linda enjoyed life to the fullest and never wasted a minute of her time. When she wasn’t working as a program coordinator or an advocate for the mentally disabled she could be found sharing her time with family or friends never having a worry in the world, and always helping wherever she could. Linda was the kind of friend most people only wish to have and she was kinder to strangers than many people are to their own family members. According to her siblings, she was a mother to everyone whether they needed it or not. With all the time she spent taking care of other she still found time to serve the Lord and served as a minister of the Gum Springs Community Church and Eternal Jubilee Church. As busy as she was she loved to go on vacation or take a camping trip with her husband and the love of her life, Jimmy Hayes. Linda had a heart of gold spending her whole life making sure others knew they were loved. Linda will be missed by all those that knew her, but her love will live on in them. Everywhere Linda went she was always beside her beloved husband Jimmy.

Those that went before her include her father Gary Ryals, and Step father Don Eubanks, and one brother Michael Eubanks.

Left to share her memories include her mother Rosie, one son, Bobby Hayes and wife Ashley of Tahlequah, OK, two daughters; Terri Hayes and husband Alan Garrett of Tahlequah, OK, and Teresa Hayes of Tahlequah, OK, two brothers; Gary Ryals Jr. and wife Rozella of Tahlequah, OK, and Don Allen Eubanks and wife Velva of Tahlequah, OK, three Sisters; Teresa Gower and husband Claudie of Moody, OK, Sheila Stacy and husband Vernon of Moody, OK, and Phoebe Shankle and husband George of Locust Grove, OK, and five grandchildren; Nicholas Womack, Raylee Crow, hunter Hayes, Haley Womack and Zachary Gilmore, as well as a host of other family friends and loved ones.
