Janell (Curd) Evans, age 65, passed from this life on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at home in Broken Arrow, OK. She was born July 25, 1959 in Pocola, OK the daughter of Joseph Daniel and Ella Emaline (Anderson) Curd. A funeral service has been planned for 2:00 PM Friday, December 12, 2014 at Edwards Funeral Home in Ft. Smith, AR with Reverend Roger Mattox officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro, OK. Serving as pallbearers will be James Anderson, Michael Perry, David Hutchins, Kaylon Lynn Pendleton, Andy Cooper, and Tyler Pendleton.
Janell was an amazing women that lit up the room with her smile that no one could forget, she was of the protestant faith and loved the Lord and the opportunity to worship him. The other loves in her life were, first and foremost her children and grandchildren whom she enjoyed spoiling every chance she got, and her hobby of making miniature dolls, plants, and houses that brought joy to others as well. This great lady will be very missed by all that had the chance to know her.
Those that have gone before her include her parents, and two sister; Pam Curd-Perry and Sharon Curd-Hutchins.
Left to remember her legacy include her husband Willie E. Evans, one son Kaylon Lynn Pendleton and wife Karla of Florida, one daughter Renae Cooper and husband Andy of Broken Arrow, a niece; Teri Perry-Bilby, and husband Jeremy of Tulsa, OK, and nephew; Michael Perry and wife Jennifer of Arlington, TX. As well as a host of other friends and loved ones.
