Frankie Dion Reese was born in Tahlequah, OK on March 13, 1961, to John Ann “Boonie” Reese and was raised with three sisters, Janet, Gaylynn and Angela. Frank was known by those closest to him as “Charlie Green Beans” or Charlie, for short. He attended Briggs Elementary and Tahlequah High School. After school, he began work as a long-haul truck driver. He later obtained a job with the Tahlequah Public Works Authority where he worked for over twenty years before his health would no longer allow and he retired. There was no better place to Frank than to be outdoors. He could be found out spear gunning fish, floating the river or on camping trips. Even bulldozing and brush hogging was a loved pastime for him. He was quite the coon hunter and would go any chance he had. He had an appreciation for fast cars and liked to drag race or tinker around on his vehicles. He was a fan of the game Pitch, old westerns and enjoyed going to the casino to visit with friends and family; even sometimes win a little money. To Frank, his family meant the world to him. He looked forward to getting everyone over for cookouts and traveling to different places. He would often make trips with his wife and step-children to Hochatown, OK and also took a trip to Durango, CO, where he was able to visit the Mesa Verde National Park. After a long battle with his health, Frank was called from his labors on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 in Tahlequah, OK at the age of 62 years old. He will be greatly missed by so many that have had the privilege to know him.
