Charles Harmon will be laid to rest at the Garden Of Memories Cemetery in Vian, OK on Friday, August 14th, 2020 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Jason Gann officiating. Online condolences for his family may be left at www.reedculver.com.
Charles was born on March 2nd, 1944, in Marble City, OK, the son of Alex and Mildred (Randell) Harmon. He attended school in the Marble City area and then began his life’s work in the agricultural industry as a farm laborer. He met and married Goldie Odessa Dameron, and they enjoyed their life together, sharing laughter and memories. When the work was done and there was spare time, Charles was ready to go deer hunting. He owned a lot of canine companions and he knew each and every one of them by heart, and all of them by name. He had a wickedly funny sense of humor and could joke and tease with the best of them. He was never one to pass up the chance to go see old classic cars. He had a personal favorite, the 1956 Pontiac Chieftain, and he never missed a chance to drive this lovely work of art. His health began to fade and Charles passed from this life on July 26th, 2020 at his home in Cookson, OK. He was 76 years old and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Goldie, his grandparents and his Mother and Father.
He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews too numerous to mention, and all of his beloved canine companions.
