Josephine W. Werpachowski Frank

Josephine Werpachowski Frank, 95, of Syracuse passed away peacefully Saturday with her family by her side. She was a life resident of Syracuse and retired from the Syracuse City School District. Josephine was a communicant of Our Lady of Pompei Church and a member of the St. Theresa’s Society. Her greatest accomplishment in life was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; she also enjoyed her time spent with them. She is predeceased by her husband, Arthur, 1992.

Survivors include her children, Robert Capucilli of Baldwinsville, Thomas (Cheryll) Frank of Syracuse, Patricia (Robert) Carroll of Fayetteville and James Frank of Syracuse; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday 8:15 a.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home and 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Pompei/St. Peter Church. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park St. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Cathedral Academy at Our Lady of Pompei School, 915 N. McBride St., Syracuse, NY 13208, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the March of Dimes.
