Jeanne N. Atkinson

Jeanne N. Atkinson, 84, formerly of Syracuse, NY, passed away on May 31, 2013 in New Port Richey, Florida. She retired from Bristol Myers where she worked for over 30 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. Atkinson; her daughter, Elizabeth Robinson; brother, Adrian LaPointe; sister, Evelyn Lombardo.

Jeanne is survived by her sons, Joseph (Elaine) Atkinson of San Jose, CA and Albert Atkinson of New Port Richey, FL; sisters, Anita Paliotta, of Jacksonville, FL, Maude “Pete” (Mert) Jones, of Palm Bay, FL, and Genevieve LaPointe of Hastings, NY; brother, Albert LaPointe of Tupper Lake, NY; brother-in-law, Lou Lombardo of Baldwinsville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday 9:30 a.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home, 1500 Park Street, Syracuse.
