Sylvania – Dorothy Pfeiffer, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at East Georgia Regional Hospital in Statesboro, GA. She was born in Augusta, GA and was a member of Buck Creek United Methodist Church. She was a retired educator after 32 years of service in the Burke County and Screven County School Systems. She felt extremely blessed to have such a loving, supportive family. She was preceded in death by her Husband: Milas Kirkpatrick Pfeiffer, Sr.; Parents: George H. & Elizabeth Gibson Seago; Sister: Flora S. Pfeiffer.
Survivors: Daughter: Sarah Anne Pfeiffer of Pointe-Claire, Quebec; Son and Daughter-In-Law: Milas Kirkpatrick, Jr. “Kirk” & Leanna Pfeiffer of Sylvania; Sister: Sarah Seago of Augusta, GA; Brothers: Harold Seago of Summerville, SC, John Seago of Marshalltown, IA, Robert Seago of Conyers, GA and Dr. Richard Seago of Bremen, GA; Grandchildren: Sam Jurdak and Brooke Jurdak, both of Pointe-Claire, Quebec; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation: Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Thompson-Strickland-Waters Funeral Home.
Private Graveside Service: Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Pfeiffer Family Cemetery with Rev. Steve Purnell officiating.
