Bobby L. Boddiford

Sylvania –Bobby L. Boddiford passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013, at Ogeechee Area Hospice at the age of 72 after an extended illness.

Mr. Boddiford was president of Boddiford Timber Co., Inc. until his retirement in 2005. After his retirement he pursued his hobby of round track racing and building race engines.

Mr. Boddiford is survived by his wife, Sarah and their son, Chad, of Sylvania, his son Todd of Seattle, WA and his daughter, Leondra of Wilmington, NC and her children, Taylor, Brittany and Jacob. He is also survived by his sister, Faye of Brunswick, GA and his half-brother, George of Fort Myers, FL.

He was preceded in death by his parents Marie and Burney Boddiford, his maternal grandparents, Alex and Anna Mock, and his paternal grandparents, George and Madge Boddiford.

The visitation and funeral service will be held at Buck Creek United Methodist Church on Friday, April 5, 2013. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM, followed by the funeral service, with interment in the church’s cemetery.
