Rita Faye Gardner Deason

Sylacauga, AL. - Rita Faye Gardner Deason, age 65, of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025.

Rita is survived by her daughter, Amanda Roden (Stanley); son, Byron Deason (Cassy); two brothers, James W. Gardner Jr., William Kent Gardner Sr.; two granddaughters; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Rita was preceded in death by her father, James Wesley Gardner, mother, Betty Ann Gardner; and sister, Judy Mae Higgenbotham.

A visitation for Rita will be held Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home, 320 North Elm Avenue, Sylacauga, Alabama 35150, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
