Michael G. Justice of Childersburg, Alabama, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, Alabama. Michael (“Mike”) was born and raised in Childersburg where he lived most of his life. His parents are Michael S. Justice and Jean H. Justice (d. 2018).
After graduating from Childersburg High School in 1977, Mike began employment with the Southern Company where he worked for several years. He was later employed at Bowater Industries where he would finish his working career.
Mr. Justice is survived by his father, Michael S. Justice, his brother Roger H. Justice (Brenda), and his sister Kay J. Hernandez (Todd), all of Childersburg, Alabama. He is also survived by his three daughters, Michelle J. Drews (Michael), Meagan Justice, and Madison J. Harper (Zach), four grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Interment will be at Green Hill Memorial Gardens following a private, graveside service officiated by Elder Leonard Southern on Monday, January 16, 2023.
Mike’s family would like to thank everyone who prayed for and supported him, especially during the past few weeks. Their encouragement meant more to him and his family than words can express. Mike will be sorely missed by us all.
