Michael Leon Barnes

Michael is survived by his wife, Lunease Bevels Barnes; his sons Michael Barnes (Krista); Shannon Barnes; and Kevin Barnes; his brothers Ray Barnes, Wayne Barnes, Hugh Barnes, Phil Barnes, Terry Barnes, his sisters Joan Barnes Scroggins, Pam Barnes Smith, Diane Barnes Mitchell and his sister-in-law Tina Sims (Michael D.); his step children Leland Keith Butler, Candy Butler Wood, James Butler, his 18 Grandchildren, his 2 Great Grandchildren and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Leon Barnes and his mother Myrtle Barnes.

A graveside service for Michael will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 2:45 PM at Alabama National Cemetery, 3133 Highway 119, Montevallo, Alabama 35115. Michael will be laid to rest in Alabama National Cemetery.
