Mrs. Marjorie Pauline "Peggy" Harvel

Mrs. Marjorie Pauline "Peggy" Harvel, age 80, of Sylacauga, died Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Sylacauga Health and Rehab. Mrs. Harvel is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Harvel Morgan (Dale Holland Morgan) of Lebanon, TN; and Diane Harvel Davis (Billy Joe Davis) of Sylacauga, AL; son, Reverend Allen Harvel (Tina) of Sylacauga, AL; grandchildren: Wendy Davis, Chris Harvel, Shaun Harvel, Josh Harvel, David Harvil as well as 4 great grandchildren; brothers: Jimmy Talley, Lester Talley, Jerry Foote, Jerry Talley, and Richard Foote; sisters: Frances Shaneyfelt, Linda Terry, Helen Johnson, and Debbie Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harvel; parents, father William Talley and mother and step-father Geneva and Homer Foote; brothers: Bill Foote, Howard Foote, Big Jim Talley and Doug Talley; and sisters, Lillie Goad and Faye Richards. Visitation will be on Monday, November 1, 2010 from 6-8 PM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel. Mrs. Harvel will lie in state at Grimes Chapel Baptist Church from 10-11 AM on Tuesday. Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM at Grimes Chapel with the Reverend Allen Harvel officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
