John Bragg Grice

Goodwater, AL. - John Bragg Grice, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024.

John is survived by his son, Terry Grice (Chasity); two daughters, Danette Nelson (Jerry), Tina Alexander (Kenny); two brothers, James Grice (Jeanine), Frank Grice; sister Betty Gallman; six grandchildren, Bailey Grice (Sarah), Brady Grice, Cody Alexander, Adam Alexander (Morgan), Ginger O'Neil (Galen), Carmen Baird (Jonny); eight great grandchildren, Jacob, Bailee, Dawson, Olivia, Shawn, Thomas Tate, Valerie, Lele; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Mae Grice; and great-granddaughter, Kadence O'Neil.

A visitation for John will be held Friday, March 15, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Hollins Baptist Church, 384 Chapman Rd, Goodwater, AL 35072, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Terry Grice and Bro. Jason Gravette officiating.

John will be laid to rest in Hollins Cemetery, Valley Grave Rd, Hollins, AL.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in John's memory may be made to Hollins Baptist Church, 384 Chapman Rd, Hollins, Alabama 35072.
