Funeral service for James Milton Machen, age 91, of Alpine will be Monday, December 5, 2011 at 11AM at Curtis and Son North Chapel with the Reverend Tom Hilyer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Machen was preceded in death by wife: Levin Machen, father: Dewey Machen, Mother: Ollie Machen and sister: Louise Maddox. He is survived by his Daughter: Carolyn Ellis and husband Bruce of Alpine, Brother: Francis Machen and wife Elaine of Sylacauga, 2 Grandchildren: Stanley Bruce Ellis and wife Angie, Dara Bolton and husband Jay, 5 Great Grandchildren: Candi Ellis Brady and husband Brian, Holly Carden, Clay Bolton, Courtney Bolton, Connor Bolton, Great Great Grandchild: Samantha Lane Carden and a host of nieces and nephews. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the services.
