Sylacauga, AL - Funeral service for Chad Evans Horn, 45, will be Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Chapel with Jason Holladay officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Sylacauga, AL.
Mr. Horn died Sunday, February 5, 2023. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. CR Campbell, Mr. Alvin A. Horn and Mrs. Flora Lee Horn. Chad was a journeyman electrician through the IBEW Local. He was a sports enthusiast. He loved Alabama football and basketball was his passion. Chad was Wide Spread Panic's greatest fan.
He was a people person and made friends everywhere he went. He was easy going, selfless, and a devoted friend. He added smiles and laughter to any room.
He is survived by his parents, William L. and Carol Horn; brother, Scott (Donna) Horn; sister, Amy (Alan) Conn; niece, Kalyne (Tyler) Roberts; nephew, Jacob Conn; nephew, Dawson Horn; niece, Kaylei Horn; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Radney-Smith Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Dawson Horn, Tyler Roberts, Russell Davis, Lee Phillips, Chad Reams, Nathan Mizzell, Jacob Conn and Jonathan Tyler.
