Cecil "Pete" E. Thomas

Cecil "Pete" E. Thomas, age 71, of Sylacauga, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Sylacauga Health and Rehab. Pete was born January 17, 1950 in Alabama to Lena Etta Reese Thomas and William Edgar Thomas.

Pete is survived by his sons, William Thomas (Kylee) and Ricky Thomas (Bethany); his daughters, Christi Emfinger (Jeremy), Jennifer Darby (Mark), and Ashly Graham (Daniel); his sisters, Bette Anderson, Eddie Nelson and Janice Cason; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Pete was preceded in death by his wife Anita Thomas; his father William Thomas and his mother Lena Thomas.

A visitation for Pete will be held Sunday, January 2, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Curtis and Son North Chapel. A funeral service will occur Monday, January 3, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel with burial to follow at Socapatoy Cemetery, Kellyton, Alabama.

Serving as pallbearers are William Thomas, Zach Stephenson, Chase Stephenson, Daniel Graham, Jeremy Emfinger and Jacob Emfinger.
