It is with deepest sadness that we, the family announce the sudden passing of Richard ‘Rick’ Alexander Pitchuck, 63, on Thursday, October 25, 2018.
Born in Sydney, on October 30, 1954, he was the son of the late Bill and Stella (Mischiek) Pitchuck.
He was the owner/operator of Rick’s Refinishing and Upholstery in Howie Centre for 36 years.
Rick loved to travel, dine out, and also shop. It was not unusual to see him and Yvonne, his fiancé, at the mall every Saturday.
He is survived by Yvonne Pertus (fiancé), and his children Ricky (Alice), and Selena (Rick), his grandson, Justin, and his sister-in-law Deborah (Roy) Tucker. He is also survived by his siblings, Joe (Marg), Delores, Raymond (Ann), Patricia (Duncan), Paul (Sandra), Stephen, and also a special nephew, Kenny (Lynn), who was like a brother to him. Also surviving are many nieces, and nephews.
Rick was predeceased by his wife, Rhonda, and by his siblings, William ‘Sonny’, Rose, Theresa, Michael ‘Mike’, Catherine and Blair.
Visitation will be held at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel on Sunday, October 28 from 6-9 p.m. Funeral service for Mr. Pitchuck will be held at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel on Monday, October 29, at 1 p.m. with Rev. Bill Burke officiating. Burial in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
