81 – Sydney
It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our loving mother, Jeanette Clare (MacDonald) Gushue of Sydney, on Wednesday, April 25, 2012.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Neil and Bessie (Campbell) MacDonald.
Jean lived a simple quiet life raising her children with tender loving care, especially Debbie. She was kind and accepting of others, she loved skating, knitting and playing cards.
She leaves to mourn her seven children Michael (Margaret), Peggy (Roy) Nichol, Rhonda (George) Evely, Debbie, Maureen (John) Moulins, Wendy Ryan, and Craig (Eleanor). She will be sadly missed by her 13 grandchildren, especially Jenna and Kelsey Ryan who resided with Mom and 7 great grandchildren. Jean is also survived by 2 step- sisters Marilyn MacIsaac and Glenda (Paul) Fougere.
She was predeceased by her uncle Danny MacDonald and her nephew Michael MacIsaac.
Visitation for Mrs. Gushue will take place on Sunday, April 29 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11 am at Holy Redeemer Church with Rev. Paul Murphy officiating. Interment in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney.
