Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Sydney and Willena “Billie” Musgrave of Balls Creek. She is survived by her husband of 40 years Ernie, their only son Clint, wife Jessica and granddaughters Blaire and Shea. Also in mourning are her sisters Donna (Johnnie Deleski), Chris (Billy MacPhee), Mary (Michael MacPhee) Susan Henrich, Margaret (Buddy Musgrave), Roberta (Mike Laperierre), brother Jimmy (Sherry), Siddie (Lise), brother in law Tim (Louise), Bob (Fely), Roy (Giselle), Carl, and sister in law Margaret (Dan MacDougall), Leah Graham, Janet (Harry Cheverie), and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & friends.
Louise spent the latter part of her working career in the bakery before becoming a devoted housewife. She loved to read, complete crosswords, enjoyed going for walks, a good cup of tea, sharing many laughs and special memories with friends and loved to complain about the weather but above all she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Louise may have drawn the short straw when it came to breaks in her life but there was no shortage of love she showed towards her family and as her health declined over the last few years that love was returned by many.
Words can’t express the thanks and appreciation for all the love and attention that was shown towards my mom over the past few years.
Special thanks to Harborstone Miners Lane, CB Regional Palliative Care and many doctors and nurses that helped with her care over the years.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 6th at TW Curry Parkview Chapel, with Rev. Steven Mills officiating. Interment to take place in Frenchvale. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family by visiting www.twcurry.com.
