It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of our husband and father, Joseph Leonard MacLean 69, surrounded by his family at the North Side General Hospital on February 8th, 2023.
Everyone who knew Leonard, knew of his love for the outdoors, fishing, hunting, just being outside in general, he had the permenant tan to prove it. He also loved listening to music, you would always see his feet tapping along to the beat.
Leonard loved being around his friends and family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Leonard is predeceased by his mother, Agnus MacLean (LeBlanc), father Leonard MacLean, brother Doug MacLean, father-in-law George Dawe, and brother-in-law Miles Fullom.
Leonard is survived by his wife Dale (Fullom) MacLean, children Leonard (Gayle) Fullom, Tracy (Scott) MacLean, William (Angela) Fullom, Crystal (Nathan) Walsh, 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Leonard is also survived by his brother Richard (Karen) MacLean, brother Wayne MacLean, sister Michelle (Steve) Doucette, mother-in-law Lila Dawe, sister-in-law Bernadette (Wilson) Plowman and brother-in-law Ernie (Beverly) Fullom.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
