Born in Neil's Harbour to the late David and Marian White. Later in life, she was fostered by Augustis and Sue Pearo of Alder Point, where she grew up and where she met her companion of 53 years, Billy Arsenault. Together they had 5 daughters, Tracy, Stephanie, Nicole, Leahann and Susan, 16 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and her fur baby Striker, all of whom she loved and cherished with all her heart. She is also survived by her brothers Robert, Mike, Brian and Skipper as well as her sister Barb, and her in-laws whom she thought the world of: Peter, Lois, Jane, Florence, Betty and Trish. Also left are many nieces and nephews that she adored so much.
Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her daughter Tracy, granddaughter Talia, grandson Justice, sisters Violet and Linda, sister-in-law Mary Pearo, very special mother-in-law Mary Arsenault, whom she thought of as mom.
A visitation will take place at Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, 8 Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines on Thursday, Mar. 16 from 2-4 and 7-9. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 18 at 1pm at Carman United Church, 1 Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines with Rev. Nick Phillips officiating.
