Nancy C. Pavao

Born in Fall River, a daughter of the late William I. and Anne F. (Roberts) Martins, she was a lifetime area resident and a graduate of BMC Durfee High School, Class of 1981.

A cake designer for over 15 years, she worked for Sam’s Club in Seekonk. A homemaker, animal lover and great cook, she enjoyed camping, spending time with her family and her chocolate lab “Bear.”

Surviving in addition to her husband, one sister; Eleanor B. Anctil and her husband Paul of Fall River, one brother; William I. Martins, Jr. of Fall River, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews including, Christopher Anctil, Sarah Ducharme, Nathan and Travis Anctil, Godson; Zachary Moniz and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws.

Her Funeral will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 8:00AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE at BIRCHCREST, 189 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:00AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 530 Gardners Neck Rd., Swansea. Visiting hours Friday from 5:00PM to 8:00PM. Contributions in her honor may be made to the Brain Tumor Research Fund, c/o Dana Farber, 450 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02215 or to Forever Paws Animal Shelter, 300 Lynwood St., Fall River, MA 02721. Burial private.
