John A. Peckham

John A. Peckham, age 87, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, December 5, 2023, in Dawn Hill Nursing Home, Bristol. Born and raised in Providence, RI, the son of the late Allen and Pearl (Robidoux) Peckham was a resident of Elkton, MD for 46 years before moving back to the Northeast.

A graduate of Johnson & Wales University, he earned an Associate’s degree in Business and was a veteran of the United States Air Force. A skilled technician, he was a supervisor for ITT Electric, Pirelli and Colonial Metal.

An active member of the Loyal Order of Moose for over 20 years, he served as a former Governor, Secretary and Treasurer. A New England Sports fan, he enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, playing cribbage, bowling and delighted in a Phillies cigar and a Dewar’s and water.

He is survived by two daughters, Lori Ciruolo and her husband, Mark of Swansea, and Beth Gallagher and her husband Jerry of AZ; one son, John Peckham and his wife Rebecca of Warwick; one brother, Peter Peckham; three grandsons, Bradford Pavao, Jerry Gallagher III and John Gallagher and two great-grandchildren, Nicholas Gallagher and Maevyn Gallagher. He was the brother of the late Patricia Belluscio.
