Such a good friend, so fun, so loving! I feel like there was still so much to learn from Sheilah and still so much to share with her every day. She was truly an Angel and will forever be in my heart ❤ 

I first met Sheila at Douglas college and became reacquainted years later at Parkland church. Our women's group frequently met at her house and our kids enjoyed collecting bugs together.  Sheila's  sense of humor, positive outlook and faith shines on. 

Loved our many nature walks together!  Sheilah was always so great to be around.  Her aura was beautiful, she will be forever in my heart ♥️ 

I met Sheila's working at the Fernridge Arms. We became close friends I had fun When Leah and Shaun were little. We kept in touch but with families we rarely saw each other, but she was Amazing. I think of her heart, her hugs and when she would sing so talented but stood with her back to the crowd♡♡ I called her Tequila and she was the Best! May your children and family find peace. I will never forget you♡♡  Pati Wilson

I knew Sheilah  as a fellow music student at Douglas college. It is no surprise that she became an outreach worker as she always showed great empathy and camaraderie  for all the other students. She was brilliant at analyzing people and offering thoughtful observations. And she was a fine musician and singer who added immensely to the musical fabric of the College. She was one of those people with who made life kinder and more interesting. Sheilah, you are fondly remembered. 

Lots of laughter, lots of singing and dancing...I knew her in our 20’s and she was a beautiful soul....she will be missed, I hope you are dancing now ♥️

I met Sheila through her longtime friends, Martin and Nui, who were my neighbours in Surrey. Sheila was always so friendly and happy. I just picture her with a smile on her face. I am so sorry for your loss and send my deepest condolences to her friends and family.


Sheilah and I met in dental assistant classes. We were instantly friends. She and I spent lots of time together, always having a good time. So many good times, on the pier crabbing, at her mothers home, camping, always laughing. When Sean and Leah were born she was so happy. My son was born on her birthday. Over the years we had lost touch, thanks to social media she found me a while back. I was so excited to hear from her, we talked for hours the first day, picking up like no time had passed. She filled me in on her husband, and other wonderful children. Her love for her family and friends was as beautiful as her soul. I am so glad we got to chat again, and so very sad for the loss of such a wonderful woman.  Hugs to all that loved Sheilah, a special one for her children and her husband in this sad time. 

I was a friend and fellow music student of Sheila's at Douglas Colledge. She had a wonderful sense of humour and was a really great person to hang with . Sheilah was always very supportive of my musical endeavours, even when it meant attending gigs at some pretty seedy bars in the downtown Eastside. She loved to sing in the choir and dance to live music. I very sorry your family's loss of her loving presence in your lives and I'm sure your memories of her will warm your hearts.
