Peter William Knight

It is with heavy hearts Peter William Knight, affectionately known as Dollie, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. Peter passed away as he lived, on his own terms. He fought bravely and with dignity. He is survived by his loving wife Lynn, mother Shirley, father Corky, sisters Penny (Dave), Pam and brother Dayne. Peter was dad to Danny (Stephanie), Deanna (Nigel), and Dean (Katie); grandpa to Adeline, Evelina, Nora, Bennett, Lydia and Skylar. Gabe, was 'the best mother to his children he could have asked for'. He is also survived by is extended family Gladys, Ron (Sharon), sister Maria (Rob), brother Jim (Taylor), sister Sue (Bonnie), all his nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs Rudy and Etta. Peter was predeceased by his brother Norm. Peter was a huge presence and impacted many people's lives and was known for his generosity and his kindness to others. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed courses throughout BC, Palm Springs, and Hawali. Over the last few years he spent time at his beloved Port, finishing his cabin, puttering in his workshop and fishing. He especially loved spending time with his Port family. The loves of his life were the 3-D's and his beautiful grandchildren.
