Elizabeth Anne Mott (nee Wilkinson) passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2024, in Surrey, BC. Betty was raised in England, the second-youngest in a family of four boys, three girls. At a young age, Betty learned to knit and was still knitting right up until the day she died, three weeks short of her 97th birthday. Betty married Victor Mott in 1948, and they raised three children, Timothy, Jayne, and Nigel. In 1967, Betty and Victor moved to Canada, and over the years the couple lived in multiple BC locations including Langley, Qualicum Beach, and White Rock.
Betty is survived by her three children: Timothy, Jayne, and Nigel (Christine); her eight grandchildren: Elissa (David), Jamie, Justin (Hazuki), Casey (Sarah), Lily (Nathan), Danielle, Ava, Michael; and her six great-grandchildren: Hailey, Victor, Charlotte, Robin, Walker, and Sunny. Her warmth, strength, and sense of humor will be dearly missed.
We would like to thank Sue and Charlie Jeys of the English Manor for their exceptional and compassionate care of both Victor and Betty over the last ten years.
