Edward (Teddy)
October 10, 1922 - June 2, 2016
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Teddy on June 2nd with his family at his
side. He was predeceased by Gladys his wife in 1988 who was the love of his life. Born in Newcastle
under Lyme England he served in the Royal Air Force during World War 2 and flew many missions over enemy
lines. He immigrated to Winnipeg, Canada with his family in 1957 and then moved to Vancouver in 1966. He resided in
South Surrey for the past 20 years and many residents of Morgan Creek knew him as he walked, whistled and sang on his
daily walks through the neighborhood. Teddy was one of the most positive, funny and likeable man you could wish to meet. Teddy is
survived by his daughter Gerry (Bernie), son Terry (Mary), 6 grandchildren,12 great grandchildren, and 4 great, great grandchildren.
Teddy you will be missed by all who knew you gods speed to be with your beloved Gladys. The family would like to thank the nurses
and staff at Weatherby Pavillion 2 for their wonderful care and compassion during the last three years.
A celebration of life will be held at Victory Memorial Park on Saturday June 18th at 10:30 am located at 14831 - 28th Avenue in South
Surrey. In lieu of flowers please consider a donations to the Peace Arch Hospital in Teddy’s name.
