To all Bill’s loved ones and to Bill. Bill was one of the greatest mentors and friends I had in EMS. He was a passionate and focused leader always wanting the best for his team. I learned so much and credit him in shaping me and for achieving my success. Love you Bill and thank you for everything.

Bill was a great friend, colleague, and mentor.  I had the privilege of being his business partner over the span of 20 years, in two very different segments of the Healthcare industry, AMR and Coram.  In business, Bill was a great operations person with unquestionable ethics.  Good or Bad news, you always got the straight story with Bill.  I was always amazed by his ability to connect and develop relationships at all levels within the operation, from the warehouse to the corner office.  
Through work, Bill and I became lifelong friends.  Whether we were playing golf or fly fishing in the Rockies, or just talking football, I always knew I could count on Bill when I needed someone to lean on.  Bill loved his 49's and Giants and, being from LA, I preferred the Rams and Dodgers.  So, we didn't agree on everything.  
Bill became an instant legend in the AMR golfing world in '97 when he won over a thousand dollars in a 50 cent "Wolf" game.  Bill said at the time that was his version of the "Greatest Game ever Played".  That legend lives on and gets bigger every year.   Bill enjoyed his corvettes, fishing, golf, ATV'ing, talking sports, and advocating for gun safety in recent years.  
Above all else, Bill loved and cherished Michelle.  Every time we spoke, I could hear in his voice the love he felt for Michelle.  And it made me happy to know Bill had found a true partner in his life.
Goodbye my friend.  You will be missed.

I had the good fortune to work with Bill as he charted a future for EMS.  Always enjoyed his company and playing golf in our free time.  What a great individual.

Bill was a great friend and colleague. We worked together for many years and our friendship continued after we both left AMR. Our old timer group has continued for a golf outing for over 25 years. He will be sorely missed. May He Rest in Pease.

Michelle, Paul Shirley here.  I was the CEO at AMR in the early days, and had the opportunity to work with Bill.   Bill was at the last outing in La Quinta.  I gave golf balls to each of the guys, with their name and “title” on them  Bill’s title was “The Fixer”. which alluded to the great work he did at AMR whenever we had a problem with a company.  We would send Bill out to take a look, and more often than not his analytical abilities discovered the problem, and we collectively got it fixed.  There are good guys and bad guys, and Bill was neither of those. He was a great guy, and I, along with the AMR boys as we call them, will mss him deeply and remember him forever.  Pat and I send our very sincere condolences for both your loss and ours.  He was a great friend and colleague.

To Bill's family:
I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  Bill was a great guy and fun to be with.  I worked with Bill at AMR and we traveled to Argentina on business.  Bill was very skilled at his craft and was a valued part of the AMR Team.  Prayers for the family and may he rest in peace.

Uncle Billy was my only Uncle and I have 52 years of memories that I could not pick just one, he was the best Uncle! Always had me out to visit him no matter what state he was living in at the time, I would always spend time with him, as I got older he would invite my friends to come with me and always show us a great time! He loved my boy's dearly and they him! He was so great to my Husband and would always treat him as our family, I'm glad you are no longer suffering and are with your family in Heaven! 

I met Bill just a few years ago, and in that time he assisted me in teaching, and many fun trips to the range.  Sympathies to Michelle, his family and friends…
