JoVanna M Moses

Giovanna Marie Moses, 86, of Bainbridge Island ,WA, and Surprise, AZ, passed away at home on February 27th, 2020. JoVanna was born in Savona, Italy and came to the United States in 1935 at the age of 1 ½, she became an American Citizen at the age of 13, in 1946. JoVanna, as she went by since childhood, made many friends both on Bainbridge Island,WA and In Surprise,AZ. On Bainbridge she was the Pharmacist for 44 years, at Vern’s Winslow Drugs and a math tutor for the Bainbridge Island School District. In Surprise, AZ, she volunteered her time to the Arizona Traditions Library and was an active member of the Happy Trails Christian Fellowship where she enjoyed the many close friendships, weekly bible study and praying for those in need. She was a generous and beautiful person, always going out of her way to help those less fortunate. Always smiling and caring for all, in every word and deed.

JoVanna is survived by her two loving sons, Chris Moses and Eric Moses; seven grandchildren, Curtiss, Kalee, Shane, Saundra, Tyler, Anthony and Robert; and two great grandchildren, Joshua and Egwene; many cousins and friends.
