Our beautiful daughter, wife, mother and grandmother went to be with the Lord on March 26, she was 54 years old. She will be missed so much by her family and her many friends.
Gail graduated from Claremont High School, and then continued her education at Southwestern College in San Diego where she earned her RN Degree. She practiced nursing in the obstetrics department for 30 years in the San Diego Area and received the "Nurse of the Year” award at Palomar Hospital in Escondido. She was such a loving and caring person she was able to use this attitude in her profession which was a blessing to so many with whom she worked with and the patients she cared for.
She is survived by her husband, Doug, of Bullhead city, AZ, her daughter Nicole Rottnek and her husband Matt of Surprise, AZ and her two beautiful grandchildren Caleb and Alexis Rottnek, her parents, Bill and Willi Witt of Surprise AZ; her father in law, Jim Lessley of Borrego Springs, CA, her brothers-in-law and their wives (Jim and Shannen, Kirk and Angie and Jeff all of CA.) She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Mona Lessley.
Gail enjoyed spending her spare time off-roading with her family. She loved her home on the Colorado River and enjoyed boating and watching the sun rise above the mountains in the mornings after work.
Her greatest love was her family, especially her young grandchildren. She was always so excited to be with them and she will always be remembered for her patience and love for them. She will be missed by her many friends in the nursing field who have been so supportive of her during her illness and also her many cousins, aunts, and uncles who all adored her.
