Born on May 11, 1942, in Hartford, Connecticut, to her eternally loved parents, Zadig and Anoosh Tavshanjian. She leaves her beloved husband and eternal sweetheart of 43 years, Edward Miloz, and loving cousins, Diana Hrechdakian and Linda George. Flo was predeceased by her three sons: Kevin (1964), Andrew (1967), and Zadig (1970), who all died due to premature births before the technology to save them was available. Flo started nursing school to fulfill and nursing ambition, but her studies were cut short by a debilitating illness and she switched to a business career. However, she felt that her nursing skills helped her get through many medical challenges during her lifetime, including surviving cancer three times. She worked for Peat, Marwick Mitchell CPA’s and the Clorox Company for many years, then served as Executive Secretary to the President of Windsor Mfg., Div. of Barnes Group Aerospace, as well as being Editor of the Company Newspaper. She advanced to Office Supervisor of their repair division during the last six years of her career at Windsor Mfg.
Flo leaves behind three loving stepchildren: Connie Murray (Ross), Colleen Trombley (Bill), and Craig Miloz (Hector Lujan); seven grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Flo loved getting together with friends, many of whom were lifelong friends from Connecticut including Shirley Previti, Joanne Gould, Monica Tofil, Sharon Cook, Carolyn Surdel, and Carol Feldmann. Flo accumulated many dear friends in Arizona during her years here as well. Flo loved life, and her motto was to treat her visiting friends like family, and her visiting family like adored company. On special occasions, she enjoyed designing and making specialized greeting cards to fit each individual. She also had a great love for cooking, both Armenian and American, and made many a “pot of soup” for ill friends. Flo also had a tremendous love for animals and enjoyed ging donations, blankets, and food to animal shelters. She was a lifelong dog owner.
