Sondra Lee (Sandy) Snyderman Steinhilber passed away peacefully on September 7, 2017, at Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. She was surrounded by her loving husband, Clyde, and her two sons, Ron and Darren. She is survived by her brother Lou Snyderman.
Sandy was born on September 4, 1945 to the late Anne and Allen Synderman in Philadelphia, PA and went to elementary school at Clara Barton Elementary. In Olney High School she met Clyde, who would eventually become her lifelong love, along with a number of lifelong Jewish friends who would get together annually to celebrate Christmas…even to this day. In 1967, Sandy and Clyde married and moved out to Hatboro, PA, where they raised their two sons to become good, loving human beings. In 2000, Sandy moved with her husband to Phoenix, AZ to start a new life away from the snow of the Northeast. She worked 10 years for the Litchfield Elementary school district before retiring in 2010. In January 2004 Sandy and her husband were greeted with their granddaughter Trinity, who lives only 15 minutes away with Ron and his wife BJ. Trinity was one of the biggest joys of Sandy’s life and one of the things she was most proud of, along with her two sons. Sandy was loved by many and was always giving. She was known around her friends and acquaintances for giving Bath and Body Works products to everybody she cared about, from her favorite workout gang of girls to her favorite waitresses, and even to her dental assistant. Sandy, like her husband, also loved music and was known to go with Clyde to concerts of her favorite singers, the latest being Faith Hill and Tim McGraw a few months ago. She was a fan of teddy bears and music boxes, which made it easy for her sons to Christmas shop for her. She also loved Russell Stover chocolates, which Clyde always made sure he bought for her every Christmas – for 49 years.
