Ronald Wayne Hudson, 71, of Peoria, AZ passed away on June 30, 2018 with his family by his side. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on July 20, 1946 and this made Ron a tried and true “Bama” fan his entire life! Ron honorably served his country in the United States Army.
Ron worked in construction and specialized in drywall. Using his hands to create and build was something that Ron excelled at every time he picked up his hammer or put on his hard hat. Even though he had a tough exterior, all that knew him loved Ron. His best friend, Guy Pickett and he were always in competition. Sadly, their last race was their journey to heaven. Guy passed two weeks prior to Ron. Their families now believe that they are together enjoying a heavenly lake, casting a line and sipping a cold one.
Ron is survived by his loving family, children, Ronnie and Carla Hudson, Ryan Hudson and Allison and Scott Adams; grandchildren, Ethan Adams, Ashley Adams, Courtney Adams; great grandchild, Julian; and although no longer married, Ron leaves behind the love of his life, Lynn Hudson who had been with him until the end.
A visitation will be held at 10am with funeral service starting at 11am on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Sunland Mortuary, 15826 Del Webb Blvd., Sun City, AZ 85351.
