He is survived by his mother Okie Gaetzke; his sister Vanessa (Stanley); three nephews, Joe, Michael and Ryan (Krista); numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and his many friends and beloved dogs.
Rick is preceded in death by his father Gary Gaetzke and his brother Scott Gaetzke.
He attended Hazen High School in Renton, Washington. After high school, Rick Honorably served in the United States Air Force. After his service, he lived in Denver where he learned about the asphalt business. He moved to Arizona and started his own business, AAA Asphalt Company.
Rick greatly enjoyed the great outdoors, which included hunting, fishing, horseback riding, as well as fast cars. He loved playing with his four-legged family members. Rick also taught himself to play guitar and found great joy in playing and singing.
Rick lived hard, played hard, laughed hard, and cared hard. He will be greatly missed but will always be in our hearts.
