Lynnette Legg, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the age of 93. She will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.
Born in Pittsburgh, Lynnette spent most of her life in Bexley, Ohio. Lynnette enjoyed decades of volunteering. A member of Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Congregation, she hosted a Bible study in her home and visited the elderly and shut ins. She offered her time volunteering at Mt. Carmel East, Franklin Park Conservatory and AmeriFlora. Lynnette’s passion for gardening was displayed in her garden on the 2010 Bexley House & Garden Tour. She brought together family and friends, offering the gift of hospitality in her home each 4th of July and for other events.
Lynnette is survived by her sons Bruce Legg (Karen) and Wes Legg (Gay), son-in-law Johnny Naylor, granddaughters, Erin North (Harold), Megan Nealy (Chris), Hanna Koenig (Brandon) and grandson Tyler Legg; great grandchildren, Izzy and Genevieve Nealy, Kennedy and Harrison North, Amelia and Everett Koenig; and a host of other loving family members and friends. Lynn is preceded in death by her husband James Legg, daughter Gwynn Naylor and parents John and Leona Eldred.
Burial will take place at yet-to-be-determined time.
