She was born in Ooi-Morishita Tokyo on March 16, 1933. Kazuko was the 3rd and the last child to her parents. The three of them were very close and stayed in touch until their deaths.
She got married in February 18, 1951 to a American who served in the US Army(later divorced). She became a U.S.Citizen in December 1951 and remove to Baltimore MD. In the mid-50s she became a licensed cosmetologist and started her carriers as a hair stylist at the famous hair salon in Baltimore Hatzler’s.
She met her husband Fred in the mid 60’s and got married. She retired as a hair stylist when her husband was transferred to Omaha NB. After her husband retired, they looked around for a place to live, and they
found Arizona sunsets were so gorgeous and her husband wanted to play golf year-round, so they moved to Arizona.
Kazuko loved crafts, music, and dancing, so when she moved to Arizona, she joined
clubs and enjoyed going to casinos as much as she could.
A memorial & celebration of life for Kazuko will be held Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Sunland Memorial Park, Mortuary & Cremation Center, 15826 Del Webb Blvd, Sun City, Arizona 85351, followed by an urn placement from 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM.
