Joanne Margaret Kuhn

Joanne Margaret Kuhn, aged 93, passed away on December 6, 2017. Jo was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 22, 1924. She moved to Hilliard, Ohio in 1944 when she married Richard Kuhn, her lifelong love, and embraced her role as a farm wife. Jo and Dick were married for 68 years. They were charter members of Resurrection Lutheran Church and involved in numerous farming and community activities in Hilliard. In 1989. Jo and Dick retired to Sun City, Arizona where they joined Peace Lutheran Church of Peoria. A few years after Dick's passing, Jo moved to The Montecito Senior Living Community in Peoria where she enjoyed new friendships.

Jo was preceded in death by her husband (2012). She is survived by her daughters, Carol Mount of Oregon; Janet Congel and son-in-law Edward of California; grandchildren Kaitlin Mount and Matthew Congel; and two dear nieces and two nephews and their families, as well as countless friends.

A celebration of life will be held at Peace Lutheran Church, 18265 N. 89th Avenue, Peoria, Arizona on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 2:30pm.

Jo and Dick's final resting place will be in Columbus, Ohio

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014 or to Peace Lutheran Church.
