She was born May 6, 1939 with her twin brother, James who preceded her by minutes. Janet was a loving mother to her children, her grandchildren, and to her great grandson who she never had the opportunity to see and to hold in her arms.
She met her husband to be, Bill, when she joined the insurance company where he worked. They fell in love and have held hands in marriage ever since January 1964. They have 2 children, Carolyn and William and a third child, Daniel O’Neill from a previous marriage.
They lived in Petaluma, CA where Janet completed her education, graduating as Valedictorian in 1983 delivering her famous speech on a “New Beginning”. She went on to complete 2 years at Sonoma State University, Santa Rosa, CA.
She will missed by many but we are happy to know that she will be with God this day.
Memorial services will be private and will be held in California for family only.
