He was a strong-willed and loving man whose life's mission was to support his family. James is survived by his spouse, Lois Lencioni, his son, Michael Lencioni, his granddaughters, Angelica Lemanski, Elizabeth Kane, and Amanda Escobar-Cash, his grandsons, James Escobar and Erik Escobar, and his great-grandchildren, Aria Escobar and Legend Escobar. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cynthia Escobar.
Outside of his family, James dedicated his time to coaching Peewee and Junior Football in Highland Park, IL. He ran a successful roofing company with his son, Michael. He found great joy in teaching and guiding young athletes. He retired to Surprise, AZ. In his free time, James enjoyed playing golf and spending quality time with his beloved grandchildren.
He was known for his sarcastic wit and his loud, infectious laugh. He had a way of making everyone around him feel at ease with his jokes and his love. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
