Elizabeth Lee Blais Engelhardt, 93, of Peoria, AZ died on July 4, 2016. She was born February 21, 1923 in Fall River, MA, to Gideon and Elizabeth Blais. She served in the US Marine Corps during World War II. She was on the staff of Tabor Academy in Marion, MA. In 1950, she joined the staff of the US Central Intelligence Agency in Washington D.C. to serve as the administrative assistant to Allan Dulles, Director of the Agency. Subsequently, she was assigned to the staff of Vice President Richard Nixon. In 1954 she married Thomas (Tom) Engelhardt of Washington, D.C. In 1983, the couple moved to Sun City, AZ and then to Peoria, AZ. She was a member of St.Clement of Rome Catholic Church in Sun City and later St.Elizabeth Seton Church in Sun City. She is survived by her husband, Thomas, and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated for her at 10AM, Wednesday, 7/13 at St.Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 9728 Palmeras Drive, Sun City, AZ. Arrangements held by Sunland Mortuary & Memorial Park.
